The course is aimed at respiratory physicians, immunologists, allergists, and other specialities who are interested in the diagnosis and management of upper airways disease. There is a focus on integrated medical and surgical management. Modern concepts of airways disease, inflammatory processes and an evidenced based approach will be discussed.
A ‘hands on’ practical component will give participants instruction in nasal endoscopy of the upper airways. The course is held in conjunction with the Sydney Sinus Surgery Course and live surgery is planned for Friday morning.
All members of the faculty have wide experience in the management of upper airways disease, corresponding testing techniques and have academic appointments at major teaching facilities.
