The Core Skills: ENT Facial Plastic Surgery Workshop will provide ENT and Plastic Surgery trainees with increased operative experience and the opportunity to consolidate knowledge and skills in a range of techniques in facial plastic surgery. This hands-on cadaveric workshop will reinforce knowledge of anatomy and provides the opportunity to practise a range of facial plastic procedures not commonly performed by trainees in clinical practice.
Hands-on dissection and pairing of participants of similar skill levels enables discussion and group learning under expert supervision.
The sessions are fully interactive with a high ratio of knowledgeable faculty to participants. Faculty provide superior training and immediate feedback in a practical and controlled workshop environment. Limited positions are available for Observers and Theatre Nurses in the role of assistant. This workshop immediately follows on from the complementary Core Skills: ENT Sinus Surgery Workshop the day prior. Participants are welcome to register for both workshops.
The workshop will feature a comprehensive, highly practical full-day program. It features demonstrations by expert faculty utilising the latest 3D visualisation technology across a range of open surgical procedures, followed by extensive cadaveric practical sessions focusing on the following:
Suitable for
RACS Surgical Trainees, Fellows and Junior Consultants in ENT and Plastic Surgery. Limited Observer positions and assistant Theatre Nurse positions are also available. This workshop follows on from the Core Skills: ENT Sinus Surgery workshop the day prior.
