The theme “Collaborating to Redefine the Landscape of Head & Neck Cancer Care” highlights our continued endeavours towards optimising patient outcomes and ongoing efforts in interdisciplinary collaboration, respect, expertise and inclusiveness. Head and neck treatment has evolved greatly over recent years and we move into an era of emerging new therapies such as immunotherapy, an era of redefining some treatment algorithms and appropriate de-escalation and importantly, an era where more emphasis is placed on survivorship and patient long term functional needs. ANZHNCS ASM 2024 in Melbourne aims to bring together all disciplines (medical, dental and allied health alike) to share advances and focus on the crucial work that we all do.
