The ACENTP meeting is held up to four times a year, with its primary focus being to promote excellence in the practice of medical otorhinolaryngology and medico-legal amongst junior and senior ENT specialists.

The meeting format is informal and friendly, with open discussion and questions.


Program Outline
The program will include presentations on topics such as Nasal manifestations of systemic disease, Current opinion on the role of IL-5 inhibitors in eosinphilic CRSWNP, Acute trauma causing hearing loss and ear syringing complications.

Case studies and panel discussion topics will include whether stress/anxiety/depression can cause or aggravate physical impairment, the death of the noise notch, evidence-based treatment for Sudden Sensorineural hearing loss (which is an increasing medico-legal issue) and new interpretations of the Workcover Guides.

Participants are invited to submit case studies on interesting and difficult cases, from a medico-legal perspective, for open discussion.
