Applications invited for AFMW Leadership Scholarships

The Australian Federation of Medical Women is inviting doctors and medical students to apply for leadership scholarships totalling $15,000.  The scholarships are being provided to help individuals attend the Medical Women's International Association Western Pacific Regional Congress http://www.tourhosts.com.au/afmw2008/  to be held October 17 - 19, 2008 at the Sofitel Melbourne.

Sixteen scholarships of $750.00 and six scholarships of $500.00 are available.  Recipients will receive leadership skills training at the Congress and have options to undertake website skills training.  Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of need, with preference given to applicants from rural and remote regions.
