Course overview:
This course has been completely redesigned with a new concept for teaching endoscopic sinus surgery, and includes two parallel but complementary streams designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration:
This course features: introductory lectures and six problem-based modules. Each module includes:
- 6 modules of problem-based dissections. Each module consists of lectures on pathophysiology, indications for surgery and surgical approach, followed by a demonstration dissection and hands-on cadaver workshop.
- More than 8 hours fully equipped hands-on cadaver dissection, with powered instrumentation and navigation (2 delegates per fresh frozen cadaver head).
- Live surgery session on Friday morning offers valuable insight into real-time surgical decision-making and technique.
- Includes a parallel Rhinoscopy course stream designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
