The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Education Precinct, Melbourne
This is a course dedicated to the clinical and surgical management of hearing implants (cochlear and acoustic implants) focusing on advanced technical skill development, case and implant type selection. Modern and state of the art artificial (for young child) and conventional adult cadaveric specimens will be used. This course is open to young consultants, fellows and senior registrars with some experience and specific interest in hearing implants. The course is also open to a group of participants who don’t dissect but would benefit from additional lectures on patient selection, mapping and outcome assessments.
