Indigenous Ear Health is an area close to the hearts of many health professionals in Australia. In an era of new technologies, ever-expanding research and evidence-based practice, there are increasing demands on the Ear Health professional to translate this to the patient.

This workshop aims to provide an overview of the current practice, evidence and management of
Indigenous Ear Health, with a practical focus on what every one of us can do to make a difference
in our patients, both now and in the future.

Aims / Objectives

1.  To identify the current and future challenges in the management of Indigenous Ear Health.

2.  To review the role of new technologies and emerging treatment paradigms in Indigenous Ear

3.  To discuss future research priorities in Indigenous Ear Health.

4.  To identify practical ways Ear Health professionals can make a difference to improve the
standard of Indigenous Ear Health care in Australia
