The Hospital:
The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Melbourne is one of the world's great children's hospitals. We are the major specialist Paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
 
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus-wide of over 4500, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care, and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

 

The Department:
The Department of Paediatric Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the RCH is expanding to meet the needs of the community. It is the primary provider of Paediatric Otolaryngology services for the states of Victoria and Tasmania, and also eastern South Australia and southern New South Wales.
 

The role:
The team is now seeking a full-time Otolaryngology non-accredited Registrar to be involved with all aspects of clinical care including clinics, theatre, ward work and on-call. This will be under full supervision.
 
To be successful in this role:
The successful applicant will be registered as a medical practitioner recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will have an interest in pursuing a career in Otolaryngology.

Essential: Medical qualifications recognised in Australia

Desirable: Previous experience in Otolaryngology
