Applications are invited for a Fellowship position in Paediatric Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

 
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) in Melbourne is a leading provider of specialist public health services for children and adolescents and is the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria, caring for children from Tasmania and southern New South Wales as well as other states around Australia, and overseas.
 
The Fellow is responsible for supervising the clinical work performed by the Registrars and Resident, and carries out regular operating lists, outpatient clinics, and management of emergencies.  The Fellow will be exposed to the full range of Paediatric Otolaryngology medical and surgical conditions which includes assessment and surgical management of airway disorders, complex ear disorders including cochlear implantation, and sino-nasal tract surgery.  The Fellow is included in the on-call roster with the Registrars.

Requirements:

Registration / eligible for registration to practice medicine in Australia.


All successful applicants must undergo a Police and Working With Children Check.

In addition, all International Medical Graduate applicants will need to have passed their IELTS test in order to be successful in this position.
